Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers amazing views from private balconies, though the rooms can feel quite cold at times. The spacious rooms with a patio-terrace overlooking the jungle provide a nice ambiance, making it a cozy stay. The service was exceptional, with the friendliest staff and even homemade papaya jam offered. The location is breathtaking and ideal for archaeological tourists, despite occasional sewage smells. The dining experience, though not buffet-style, offers great value with a variety of local specialties. Overall, a lovely getaway with a few drawbacks to consider.
Staying at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The rooms were comfortable and bug-free with stunning views, but unfortunately, they were quite noisy being close to the staircase and the restaurant below, as well as the constant coming and going of buses in the nearby car park. The service varied, with exceptional bar staff but lacking in overall service quality. The location, offering a private gate to Chichén Itza, was superb, though some may find it a bit limiting. The dining options were average, mostly crowded and pricey with limited choices. As for facilities, they were adequate.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great experiences. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a private balcony with an awesome view, although it was super noisy at times. The service was a bit lacking in helpfulness, with some staff being rude, but the bartenders were wonderful. The location couldn't have been better for early morning sightseeing of Chichen Itza's ruins, and the dining options were limited but good value for money. The facilities were well-maintained with some minor drawbacks.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were large but a bit dated, equipped with essential amenities like a safe, tea/coffee facilities, Aircon, and a small balcony, although the mornings could be very loud due to staff activities. The dining area had a mosquito issue, but the service was exceptional, especially helping with taxis, tours, and dining recommendations. The location was perfect for visiting the Archaeological site, but the direct park entrance was closed. The dining offered a wide variety with standout cuisine choices and finishing early sometimes. Not the best value for money without some features.
The hotel has nice and big rooms with a deep bath and a great view to the observatory. The service was mixed, with some helpful staff members but also encountered rudeness when requesting a room change. The dining options were varied but at times pricey. Overall, a convenient choice for a one-night trip to Chichén Itzá ruins.
